There is so much one can learn from nature. Some people are like thistle, they appear to be thorny and dangerous but when handled very carefully and gently they are able to work cooperatively with one another. But one must remember to never hold too hard or you might get pricked.
Trying to influence them, you must work at the root where there are no thorns. Get under the stem. Get to the underlying problem. There is still hope, for the thorny thistle bares a wild flower and within the flower is the softest stuff nature can make---like cotton balls but even softer.
