Soar

Today I sense my wings

With the arrival of the early spring’s Robin Redbreast

Days will be longer

Warmer

More carefree

This morn I soar with the Robin

Chirping, free

Springtime is here

The wind on my face

Awakening

Invigorating

Joyous 

We fly above

A clear and beautiful pond 

Surrounded by nothing but a soft whisper of virgin grass

  

Graceful branches of a great willow tree dance within each springtime breeze

A solitary swan glides in the pond

The sun glistens on its back

Two ducks circle

Gently land on the these still waters

Chirping and cooing of invisible birds in the distant brush

A song deep within my breast

Sweet aroma of the forsythia and honeysuckle in full bloom

I sit upon the grass for awhile and just breathe

Touching the sparkling waters

Awakened

Cupping water in my hands 

Drinking it

I am rejuvenated

Renewed

My thirst is finally quenched

Laying back

Gazing at the endless blue above

Absolutely and completely refreshed

Replenished

The gentle warmth of each sunray kisses my cheek

Within all peaceful moments 

This moment is the most ever

Today overflows with wonder, joy and amazement

All of these feelings are put into a special box

Tonight while laying in bed ready for slumber

I open this box and live in this moment once again
