Today there is a wind chill
It may be warmer than yesterday but the stillness of the past day made any temperature bearable
Today I sing to you
There are no bird songs but the cracking ice and howling wind are my baritone
I may have hunger pains, my mouth maybe dry but to you I have come
You invite me with your endless blue sky and bright rays of our sun
To you I come and the joy of just sitting here beside silence, beauty, freedom, stillness and peace
I stand enveloped in you
Oh joy and happiness of this moment
It is a gift that I can come here in any weather as the still pond greets me
There is nothing but love in my heart as the sun shines upon my breast
