I have come to you like a child must run to its mother
You are my refuge
You give me hope
You make me feel peace
Yet as I
Stand
At this meditation spot
Even though there is talk of disease, vermin and hunters
I still come to you
The mosquitoes may bite my ankles
Ticks may be in the brush
There may be a rapid animal in the forest
I may even hear the wushhh of a hunter's bullet in the distance
I still come to you
Oh Israel
There may be terrorism
There may be fear
There may be suicide bombers
Yet I still come to you
For when I look upon your waters
Jordan River
Dead Sea
Sea of Galilee...
I feel your love and peace emanating from the earth
within
each beat
of
my
heart
You are my refuge
You give me hope
You make me feel peace
Yet as I
Stand
At this meditation spot
Even though there is talk of disease, vermin and hunters
I still come to you
The mosquitoes may bite my ankles
Ticks may be in the brush
There may be a rapid animal in the forest
I may even hear the wushhh of a hunter's bullet in the distance
I still come to you
Oh Israel
There may be terrorism
There may be fear
There may be suicide bombers
Yet I still come to you
For when I look upon your waters
Jordan River
Dead Sea
Sea of Galilee...
I feel your love and peace emanating from the earth
within
each beat
of
my
heart
