Why do I write

Why do I quest to share

When I fear sharing

When I fear their judgments

My sensitivity

My delicate vulnerability

Be brave

Be sure

Oh, I have written in my trusty journal over many, many years

 Carrying you with me every time I come to you

We are but a reflection of this moment in time

Oh dance with me 
even though
the music may be 
faint

Consistency breeds security

Freedom's Bees...The Walk

The walk for many years each and every morning rain or snow

I walked to you

my stream, my pond, my spring

Like the sun would I would rise in 

arctic coldness or scorching heat

I would go with clarity and devotion at sunrise with my little pad and pens

You always my destination

My solitude

My solace

My peace

And when I meditate

I can see my soul and feel your joy

Oh glory, 

glory be… 

the angels sing 

white feathers and diamond star dust fall from the sky

Music fills the air weaving with the heaven’s threads of silken blue  

As for me 

I would spin

Soft breezes fill my senses 

and bathe my body

The sun rays lift any sadness or darkness or doom

Gone, gone, gone 

Only smiles 

love 

and joy

Oh freedom’s bees have arrived
