Solitude and Peace

I can feel the music in my heart as I listen to the morning birds' song 

splashing of the toads 

 honking of the geese 

My spirit is awoken

Your song reminds me that

I am loved so loved  

To you I give my heart 

as we harmonize 

with nature 

on this

When I Walk To You

When I walk to these spring waters through the forest I acknowledge and respect it 

for this is also home of wild bear, coyote, snakes, poison ivy and hunters

Yet when I gaze upon your waters or even look in your direction 

I must come to you

With you I feel solace, inspiration and a greater love

After my meditation 

I open my eyes and the grass beneath me is so much greener

The sky is so much brighter and bluer

The air is so much fresher

My body feels so much stronger  

My mind, yes my mind is in a peaceful calm almost heavenly trance

                                                                                   If we lead our children

through the mud

it’s our responsibility
to clean them up

Bear Fruit

Temporarily I may feel a little raw

but with 

sustenance

sunlight

hope and faith

I pray and quest that my healthy seeds 

are nurtured and sprout

for where seeds are planted not all will grow

yet it only takes one seed 

for a tree to bear fruit
