Our Center*

The Earth
she is the center of a daisy
steadfast, life-bearing and cohesive

We are the petals
We grow from her

We depend on her for our very existence

She provides the contrast to enhance our beauty
The earth can survive without us
but we cannot survive without her

Together we share a bond of delicate coexistence
and the rarest and most unique beauty
Honor our bond

*Tell me of love from our Mother Earth

The air…light as a free-floating  feather

Whispering  sunsets, a’ fore night
Twinkling  diamonds beyond stars, time and flight

Intense crystal prisms, against  mossy sky

Love’s a blue florescent butterfly, I cannot tell why

Emerging from its cocoon, awakening wings, ready to fly
Bursting juices of ancient pomegranate, eucalyptus waters, velvet the nye

Ancient hearts beat, echoing of the drum
True happiness I hear, my life has begun

We dance,  gypsy tangos, laughter fills the air
The joy, of joys, my true love is here

Birth from the egg, contours of your lip
Memories of our past, from your eyes, I do sip

Smoothness of the mango, sweet smiles upon your face
Who cares about time, when all I see is lace

Oh, how doth my heart long, that is how my story goes
For a kiss upon your brow, a stroke upon your toes

Rhythms of the waltz, each melody doth grow
Sonatas I hear, as my harp strings grace, soft and flow

Magnificent skies of violet, orange and blue
I can see in your eyes, this moment’s for you

As morrow’s moon, rises, rises above
Oh, how doth my heart long, yet sparkles with love

I whisper your name upon each midnight sky
Echoes eons, of eons, of eons gone by

Now freedom’s bees have arrived
Sharing honey with you, only you, ‘tis no surprise

Hummingbirds sing, flutter in flight
Oh, how I’ve dreamt, dreamt of yesterdays night

My love for you never falters, oh, how these moments grow
Your sweet, tender touch, your kind, gentle glow

Busy are we, for daybreak has come
We take our last dance, as the moon welcomes the sun

I dream of billowy bed linens, draped silken white
This moment I soar on the strings of a kite

My springtime arrives, the white dove doth fly
Love, an olive branch carried up thru the sky

You, my oasis, my well of delight
Crystal covered mountains, you are my light

Song of the Seed

Song of the Seed, An ode--- Condensed, Rev.5
Poem: Invictus. (taking responsibility for one’s destiny
10-15-07

Oh point so sharp
And lead so fine

These words are
written upon my vine

 Walk with friends
or walk alone

But where we breathe
Shall be our home

You sit upon your mighty throne
Yet earth, air and water, you do not own

Faster, faster, was your song
The future’s here, oh what went wrong

For mother earth she cries, she cries for now
Her tears, they stream upon my brow

You may have thought I loved you best
But all creations lie within my breast

Oh oak so strong, with wisdom be
Share nurturing stories from this tree.

Oh wheat of wheat, sustain and sway
Awaken spirits of this day

Seed of seeds, smile and sprout
Teaching hope so deep, it must burst out

Our job of jobs, hard work be true
Our precious earth must be renew

Caring and wise, this path I see
Perfection is too strict for me

For this moment, I do stride
With open heart, and written pride

From birth to birth, oh how I wait
To thrive as one it’s not too late

Our lights shine so bright, so bright within

My word of words let us begin

Wings of Faith*

As I jump
I can feel my feet rising
just a little bit higher

My wings of faith
are lifting me
more
than expected

Going to Seed*

When one dies
they go to seed

leaving behind the budding flowers
of their personal ideas
ideals and beliefs
