I sit here basking in your warm rays
It may be freezing outside but love is love no matter the temperature
no matter the weather
no matter the season
and as the earth turns I sit here and bask in your arms
Oh gift of light you anoint me with diamonds and rubies
You crown me like a princess
You bring me to your royal court
Oh sky of endless blue
and crystalline white snow beneath my feet
I am here and you are there and together we are one
Your diamond intensity of love
your blue skies
your endless hope and awe and
your air maybe frigid

with this coldness you touch my cheek
you touch my bare hands
you touch every part of my exposed skin
You touch me with cold hands reminding me of the seasons
It may be cold

but this gentle touch is love, pure love
